Mordechai Ben-Porat: There are no refugees - there was a population exchange

Mordechai Ben-Porat, an Israel Prize Winner and former Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for the Rehabilitation of Palestinian Refugees, reminds Prime Minister Olmert that Israel already rehabilitated refugees who were forced to escape their homes and leave their possessions behind both in 1948 and in 1967. The number of Jewish refugees absorbed in Israel is very similar to that of the Arab refugees who went to Arab countries. Therefore, this can be defined as "an exhange of populations".
